Birdseed Food Co. has issued a recall in February 2019 for their Craft Granola Goldenola Turmeric & Ginger, as these products contain undeclared cashews, which were not listed in the ingredients.

The product can be identified as the yellow bag, net weight 11oz and 3oz, packaging with expiration dates up to 06-14-19.

The mislabeling of the product happened upon attaining new packaging in October 2018 and the firm became aware of the issue via customer email. Moving forward the cashew ingredient will be removed from recipe.  

People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to cashews run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.

If you purchased any of the Birdseed Food Co. Craft Granola Goldenola Turmeric & Ginger from us  between the dates of 10/03/18 - 02/07/19 and have a cashew allergy, please do not eat it. We urge you to discard the product and email us if you would like a full refund of the product or a replacement.
