Healthy Holiday Cocktail Recipes: Boozy Vegnog

Eggnog Vintage Ad

This vegan alt-eggnog, is the perfect boozy yet still healthy holiday bev to serve both vegan and non-vegan guests alike. 

Serving: 4-5 cups

Ingredients:
  • 3 cups cashew mylk or any nut mylk of your choice
  • 1 can full fat coconut milk
  • ⅓ cup cashews (soaked for atleast 30 minutes, best overnight)
  • ¼ cup + 2tbsp coconut sugar
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground nutmeg
  • pinch of sea salt
  • 1 oz / about 5 dashes aromatic bitters
  • 3 to 4 oz dark spiced rum, bourbon, brandy, or whisky
  • Extra nutmeg for garnish
Directions:
  1. Blend all ingredients in a high powered blender.
  2. Serve as is, or heat over stove top for warm nog.
  3. Top with freshly grated nutmeg before serving.
